Ce que la lumière n'éclaire plus...

On the occasion of the publication of Léo Marin's* essay, What the Light No Longer Illuminates Relentlessly Emerges from the Shadows, devoted to the work of Vincent Lemaire, Galerie Dix9 presents a selection of works discussed in the text, bringing into view the relationships and dialogues it draws between them.

The essay was produced as part of the ADAGP Ekphrasis Grant, of which Vincent Lemaire was a laureate in 2025. It will be published in the September issue of Le Quotidien de l'Art.

One year after Entropy, the artist's solo exhibition at the gallery, this essay offers a fresh perspective on works that explore the origins of life and seek to situate us within the vast scales of time and nothingness.
