Rodrigo Mouchez is a French Mexican artist and curator. Graduating with a MFA and a BFA from l?Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 2012, he participated in the same year at the research Masters program in choregraphy ?Ex.e.r.ce? in the Centre Chorégraphique National of Montpellier, France. He created AGUAS, a curatorial  platform, in 2017.

His artworks takes root in various mediums ranging from sculpture and drawing to performance, video and installation. Rodrigue Mouchez works directly with the elements that define immediate daily life by reconfiguring them into strange and foreign presences. Grounded in his research on the concepts of cycle, alteration or entropy, the artist questions our deeply rooted anthropocentrism often using ephemeral, organic or perishable materials. Altering a set order of things is for the artist a way of producing new schemes of sensibility and narrative possibilities, which have both spatial and temporal consequences.
